ABOUT US: Valley Grinder came about when we realized how much construction waste material had been ending up in landfills. We saw the Grinder as a means to help reduce landfill impacts while providing customers with a useable product. We provide this service at a cost competitive with traditional dumpster fees.
The Grinder turns unusable wood waste into an organic material with multiple uses for the homebuilder and/or homeowner. The resulting mulch can be used as erosion and mud control, soil amendment, landscaping, splash protection under roof drainage areas, etc. The Grinder will also pulverize drywall, which can be used as a soil amendment that improves drainage (very useful in clay-ish and wetter soils).
We are not limited to construction waste. Fire mitigation by government agencies, homeowners and associations, and pre-construction lot clearing create a large amount of debris that can be ground into high quality mulch. The arid west has experienced nearly a decade of drought conditions, and gathered slash material creates a fire hazard, pest habitat, and is generally just plain ugly. Since burning slash piles is a difficult, dangerous, and costly activity in times of drought, grinding is a viable option that provides a valuable end product. Waiting several years for wetter, burn-friendly conditions only allows these conditions to worsen.
The grinder unit is mobile, and we will go to your site for processing of material, which can be left onsite, transported to another site, or removed altogether. We will work with the homebuilder to provide the desired level of service ranging from simply grinding wood debris to complete cleanup of the exterior jobsite.
Give us a call and we will meet with you show you how we can help your construction business or new construction site increase efficiency, conserve resources, help protect the environment, and do it all cost effectively!
